Rhinelander Swim Club members compete in Minneapolis
Rhinelander Swim Club members compete in Minneapolis
Young people from all over the Midwest - including Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin spent the weekend swimming in the University Of Minnesota Aquatic Center.
Swimmers qualified for the meet by meeting or exceeding event qualifying times during meets throughout the season.
The following Rhinelander Swim Club members competed:
- Jack Antonuk, 9, competed in the 100-yard individual medley, finishing in a time of 1 minute, 27.72 seconds. He also competed in the 100 butterfly (1:27.35), the 100 breaststroke (1:44.47), the 200 IM (3:08.17), the 50 breaststroke (47.70) and the 50 Butterfly.
- Annika Benoy, 15, swam the 200 freestyle (2:25.56) the 500 freestyle (6:45.87) and the 100 freestyle (1:04.71).
- Russell Benoy, 12, competed in the 50 backstroke, (35.41), the 100 breaststroke (1:20.81), the 50 freestyle (29.79), the 100 IM (1:14.08), the 100 backstroke (1:15.42), the 50 breaststroke (36.99) and 200 IM.
- Miranda Erdmann, 12, competed in the 100 butterfly (1:17.09), the 50 backstroke (35.22), the 100 breaststroke (1:25.42), the 100 IM (1:17.55), the 50 breaststroke (38.02), the 50 butterfly (32.84) and the 200 IM (2:48.35).
- Charlie Heck, 8, swam the 100 freestyle (1:27.24), 50 backstroke (44.57), 100 IM (1:40.60), 50 freestyle (37.95), 25 freestyle (16.60), 50 breaststroke (50.96), and 25 backstroke (20.59).
- Grace Heck, 12, swam the 100 butterfly (1:10.94), the 50 backstroke (33.54), the 50 freestyle (27.98), the 100 IM (1:11.44), the 100 backstroke (1:13.88), the 50 butterfly (31.38) and the 100 freestyle (1:02.38).
- James Heck, 8, swam the 50 freestyle (37.96), the 25 butterfly (19.84) and the 25 freestyle (17.17).
- Joseph Heck, 11, swam the 50 backstroke (34.59 ) and the 100 backstroke (1:15.55).
- Valerie Puza, 15, competed in the 50 freestyle (29.00) and the 100 freestyle (1:04.14).
- Eleanor Schiek, 10, competed in the 50 backstroke (40.65), the 100 breaststroke (1:37.67) and the 50 breaststroke (43.21).
- Annalyse Schoppe, 8, swam the 50 freestyle (41.26).
- Abi Winnicki, 7, competed in the 100 freestyle (1:27.53), the 50 freestyle (39.36), the 25 butterfly (20.06), the 25 freestyle (17.86) and the 25 backstroke (21.54 seconds).
- Makenna Winnicki, 10, swam the 100 freestyle (1:07.17), the 50 backstroke (36.90), the 100 IM (1:25.61), the 50 freestyle (30.69), the 200 freestyle (2:30.61), the 100 backstroke (1:18.68) and the 50 butterfly (35.69).
- AnnaMarie Wood, 10, swam the 100 breaststroke (1:37.84).
