Crescent Elementary School third grade teacher Jodi Nelson worked the drive-thru at the downtown Rhinelander McDonalds Wednesday evening as part of McTeacher night. The Hodag mascot also made a special appearance, showing off its dance skills to get people to stop by. Crescent staff worked from 4 to 7 p.m. with 20 percent of all sales during that time frame going to benefit the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Initiative. "It's great to be able to get out into the community and interact with everyone while raising money for a very important program," Crescent Principal Kelly Huseby said. "We're very thankful to McDonalds for working with us and for everyone that came out to support us and the kids at our school."
