School board members meet in Three Lakes
The attendees were welcomed by Region 2 Director Captain Terry McCloskey, USN Retired, Three Lakes School Board, who gave a brief overview of his responsibilities to the school districts in his region.
WASB Executive Director John Ashley then shared important information on the role of a school board member and school board meeting fundamentals. Ashley also outlined the services and information of the WASB.
School Districts in Region 2 are Chequamegon, Crandon, Elcho, Florence, Hurley, Lac du Flambeau #1, Lakeland, Laona, Mercer, Minocqua J1, North Lakeland, Laona, Northland Pines, Phelps, Phillips, Prentice, Rhinelander, Three Lakes, Tomahawk, Wabeno Area, White Lake and Woodruff J1.
