Burgan, Roberts and Van Burent to face at least one challenger
Three to seek re-election to school board
Incumbents Ray Burgan, Mike Roberts and Merlin Van Buren have all submitted their paperwork seeking re-election, according to district executive assistant and board deputy clerk Jane Walkowski.
One challenger, Duane Frey, has also thrown his hat in the ring.
There is still time for other candidates to take out election papers. The deadline to submit candidacy papers is 5 p.m. Jan. 7. Those interested in running for the board should contact Walkowski at (715) 365-9750.
The election will be held on April 1.
