Wiesmann, Nolte join St. Germain chamber
Wiesmann comes from Fort Atkinson and brings with her over 12 years of marketing and business experience, most recently working for Cygnus Business Media as the marketing manager for numerous publications and associations. Wiesmann's previous experience also includes sales and marketing for a national manufacturer of outdoor power equipment and project manager at the Fort Atkinson Chamber of Commerce. She has been actively involved in community events and served on the board of directors for numerous community organizations.
Wiesmann and her family will be relocating to their home in St. Germain after the holidays.
"As executive director, I am excited to work closely with the board of directors and the chamber membership, providing new vision and direction to address the business needs of our community," Wiesmann said in a statement.
"The chamber comes with a rich history of inspiring leaders," Wiesmann said. "I look forward to drawing from that inspiration to strengthen membership by strategically addressing regional marketing strategies, new engagement opportunities and economic development for the community."
Josie Nolte has also joined the chamber team as the new events coordinator.
"For many years I have enjoyed visiting and living in the beautiful Northwoods," Nolte said. "I'm very excited to be working for the chamber sharing my interests with visitors and promoting what this area has to offer. I look forward to the opportunities and challenges ahead."
Nolte has served as the purchasing director at Lake Forest College, in Lake Forest, Ill. and with First Weber in Eagle River as a real estate agent.
The chamber board of directors and staff are excited about the additions of Wiesmann and Nolte.
"The office is now fully staffed and ready to continue serving for the business community here in the St. Germain area," the board said in a press release announcing the hires.
