Santa making the rounds this weekend
Santa will arrive at the Pelican Fire Department at 11 a.m. by fire engine. There will be a combat challenge course for kids where where youngsters can learn important skills. The event also includes games, free food, and a chance to visit with local firefighters.
Santa will have lunch Saturday at the Riverwalk Centre as part of the Rhinelander Railroad Association's December Open House. The lunch costs $5 and will be provided by Trig's. Pictures will follow. Santa will be back on Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to pose for more pictures.
The open house includes five train layouts and planes courtesy of the Northwoods R/C Flyers.
Pets can visit with Santa too.
Santa will be at Pawz N' Clawz Natural Pet Food and Grooming from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday to take photos with pets. Photos will be professionally done by Spotlight Studio at no charge. Donations are appreciated for Oneida County Humane Society. For more information, call (715) 362-5163.
