The RSC team had a strong showing at the all-day meet with several swimmers dropping time:
- Angelika Catlin, 15, dropped an amazing 19.98 seconds from her previous personal best in the 500-yard freestyle for a new time of 7 minutes, 6.84 seconds.
- Oliver Ferdinand, 9, improved 13.90 seconds in the 50 freestyle (48.30).
- Rhea Fernandes, 11, dropped 17.21 seconds in the 50 freestyle (52.62) and 11.89 seconds in the 50 backstroke (1:02.04).
- Tyr Hemmingstad, 8, improved 10.29 seconds in the 25 freestyle (22.99).
- Hannah Hoffhein, 11, dropped an amazing 19.03 seconds in the 100 freestyle (1:28.37).
- Martin Hogar, 12, beat his personal best by 11.40 seconds in the 100 freestyle (1:24.87) and by 18.32 seconds in the 50 breaststroke (54.94).
- Cooper Lindman, 11, dropped 16.88 seconds in the 100 breaststroke (1:48.60).
- Will Rutkowski, 10, improved 11.57 seconds in the 50 freestyle (43.45).
- Liana Teter, 9, dropped 10.34 seconds in the 50 freestyle (52.42).
- Mia Tulowitzky, 6, dropped 15.28 seconds in the 25 backstroke (28.87).
- Natasha Wacker, 12, improved 13.28 seconds in the freestyle (1:18.19).
The Rhinelander Swim Club will host a conference meet Saturday starting at 10 a.m. at the Heck Family Community Pool. Admission is free and the public is welcome to attend. The club is celebrating 50 years of swimming this year.
