The Wisconsin Basic Skills Series began in 2009 and has grown to 14 competitions with over 525 participating skaters. The Wisconsin Basic Skills Series allows basic skills level skaters to compete in a series of competitions with consistent rules, a friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to earn points towards season rewards!

Hauser competed in nine out of 14 competitions and earned a total of 97 points. Scholtes competed in 10 out of 14 competitions and earned a total of 102 points.

Scholtes, 10, has been skating for three years with the club, while Hauser, 10, has been with the club for two years.
