Rhinelander Dialysis Center moving to more accessible location
The new center will open on Dec. 16 at 1306 Lincoln Street, right between O'Reilly Auto Parts and Home Depot.
The center is currently housed on the second floor of the Trig's Riverwalk Centre, a location that requires patients to navigate up an elevator and down a long hallway to get treatment.
According to Christine Nelson, the administrator for the Rhinelander and Woodruff clinics, the new location is more customer-friendly.
"It's going to give us the capacity to accommodate more patients and it's going to be on a ground level so the patients will no longer have to go up to the second floor," Nelson said."We're planning for growth and this will just be better for the patients all the way around."
The center was previously operated by Ministry Health Care. It will now be operated by DaVita.
