Abigal Nelson is helped out the back of a school bus while her brother, Carter, watches during an evacuation drill at the Bowen's Bus Service open house Thursday afternoon. The bus service held the event to teach kids about bus safety as the new school year approaches. Bowen's would also like to remind motorists to slow down and stop when a bus has its flashing lights on.
