Busy summer ahead for four area soccer players
Gabbe Millot and Voigt will play with the U16 girls' Central FC Select team and Gunnar Millot and Modic will play with the U14 boys' Central FC Select team. The boys earned the right to play on the team this past weekend, winning the Wisconsin Presidents Cup. The girls were selected last October.
The Presidents Cup provides teams a unique opportunity to play against teams from other states. Winners from Region II will go on to the national competition.
In addition, Gabbe Millot and Modic will be involved in Olympic Develop Program events later this summer. Millot will take part in the 1996 girls ODP Tournament July 13-15. Modic will take part in the boys' 1998 ODP camp July 5-9. Both events take place in Rockford, Ill.
