Rhinelander Partners in Education receives grant from Rhinelander Community Foundation to support career exploration activities
Rhinelander Partners in Education (PIE) is pleased to announce it has received a generous grant in the amount of $2,340 from the Rhinelander Community Foundation to support career experience activities for students at Rhinelander High School and James Williams Middle School.
This grant, made possible by the Ron and Elsie Gaber Grants for Greater Good, will directly fund field trips and experiences designed to expose students to a variety of college, technical school, and career opportunities throughout the Northwoods region.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Rhinelander Community Foundation and the Ron and Elsie Gaber Grants for Greater Good for supporting our mission to connect students with real-world career experiences,” said Lexi Allen, college and career counselor for the School District of Rhinelander. “These funds will allow students to explore a wide range of post-secondary paths and career fields, helping them make informed decisions about their futures.”
The funding will support field trips that allow students to visit college campuses, technical schools, and local employers, providing hands-on learning and valuable exposure to potential career pathways.
Partners in Education is a collaborative effort that brings together local educators, businesses, and community members to enhance academic and career planning for Rhinelander students.
