Rhinelander Builders Supply dealt in coal, wood and building supplies of all types. Headed by Solon D. Sutliff, the company advertised its products on small calendars which used tin postcards featuring various buildings around town. In 1923, the building of choice was the recently built home of James M. Caldwell on Randall Avenue. When this photo was taken, the trees that lined the street had only recently been planted.
