Bards, briefed: Reduced Shakespeare Company brings “All the Great Books (abridged)” to Nicolet Live! May 16-17

The beloved touring theatrical troupe, Reduced Shakespeare Company, is coming to Rhinelander for three performances Friday, May 16, through Saturday, May 17.

On the Nicolet Live! stage, “All The Great Books (abridged) will be May 16 at 7:30 p.m.; May 17 at 2 p.m.; and May 17 at 7:30 p.m.

According to the Washington Post, Reduced Shakespeare Company’s production is “English class meets Monty Python.” It’s written by Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor, with additional material by Matthew Croke and Michael Faulkner. 

The bar in the Lakeside Lounge opens at 6 p.m., 12:30 p.m. for the matinee showing, serving beer, wine, sodas and snacks. 

Admission is $36, but free with a Nicolet student ID.
