New jewelry business opens in Rhinelander

Gina and Rich Whitaker opened BLING on Brown, which sells Paparazzi jewelry for $5, on Aug. 29.
"I wanted something that my friends and my family could afford so I was trying to find cheaper, good quality jewelry," Gina Whitaker said.
She came across Paparazzi while scrolling through Facebook and watched a live presentation showing the Paparazzi products.
"The quality of jewelry is just fantastic and yeah, I was blown away and I purchased some items and got so many complements and I love the stuff myself. I said 'You know what? This is what I'm going to do,'" she recalled.
The store carries rings, necklaces, bracelets and more.
"The quality of the jewelry is just amazing for $5," Whitaker said. "It's like compared to like Kohl's jewelry."
She will be selling a men's and children's line soon. The children's jewelry will be $1.
"People are just amazed that the items are only $5 for the quality that they are getting and they are very excited to see this store in town," she added.
Whitaker said she gets brand new inventory every day, and is carrying one or two of each item so she can offer a wider variety. She updates her Facebook account a few times a week with information about new inventory.
Store hours are Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed Sundays.
