Diane Bowman-Koopman, our sweet angel, passed to our Lord Sept. 3, 2017, while visiting Roswell, N.M., after a long battle with cancer. She was a very loving person in both her personal life and her profession of nursing. She transitioned surrounded by her loving family. Diane was born in Rhinelander on March 27.1963 and grew up here. She belonged to the Belles of St. Mary's. After they disbanded, she joined the Wausau Story and Blue Stars Drum and Bugles Corps. She then moved to Omaha, Neb., where she obtained a bachelor's degree in nursing. She worked at local hospitals, home health care and was a traveling nurse for several years.

Diane was a huge Packers and Huskers fan and you did not call her during a game. She loved music and drinking beer with friends. She loved everyone she met and everyone loved her. Her heart was full of love and kindness.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Koopman (LaVista, NE.); her mother and stepfather, Joy and Al Partington (Rhinelander); her brother, spouse and children, Joe, Aleyda, Ryan and Alyssa Bowman (Las Vegas, Nev.); sister Donna and children Larry and Tyler Mess (Rhinelander); stepson, spouse and daughter, Chris, Sierra and Arayha, (Silverdale, Wash.); Diane's loving Bowman and Bohne family, Randy's loving Koopman family and all her nephews, nieces and cousins. Diane had very good and loyal friends who loved her dearly.

Diane was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Bowman; Grandpa and Grandma Bowman; Grandpa and Grandma Bohne and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
