Marlene is survived by her children, Tom Waalkens (Jonetta) of Muscoda, Wis. and Donna Polarski of Three Lakes; and her sister Patricia Bonack of Rhinelander. She is also lovingly survived by her grandchildren Patrick and Patricia, Heather and Amber, Sara and Glen; her great-grandchildren, Emily and Shelby, Desiree', Joe and Jodi, Adam and Amanda, and her great-great granddaughter Olive Wren. She was preceded in death by Alfred, her husband of 53 years; her sons Patrick and Michael, and her three brothers and seven sisters. Marlene was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed gardening and flowers and special visits from her neighbors.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017 at the Forest Home Cemetery in Rhinelander.
