Harley Wilcox died peacefully at his home in Rhinelander on Nov. 4, 2017 at the age of 84. Harley was born Feb. 10, 1933 to Perry and Mabel (Bailey) Wilcox.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1953 until 1955 having served in the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Bonnie Dumpprope on June 15, 1963. Together they raised three children. After being honorably discharged, Harley first worked at Sowinski Farms in Sugar Camp. He then worked maintenance at St. Mary's Hospital until finally retiring after 30-plus years from Coca Cola.

Harley enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his garden, and watching the Green Bay Packers. He also enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino. He liked playing the lottery, always trying to win the big one!

Harley was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Archie, two sisters, Margaret Sherry and Pearl Armstrong, and his dog Buddy of 17 years.

Harley is survived by his wife Bonnie; three children, Brenda (Andy) Behrle of Rhinelander; Julie (Dan) Czerwinski of Wausau; and, Mark (Joy) Wilcox of Marion, Ill. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Danielle (Josh) LaCrosse of Green Bay; Rebecca Behrle of Green Bay; and Tyler and Aidden Wilcox of Marion, Ill. He is also survived by two brothers, Francis, and Lloyd (Charlotte) of Rhinelander, and one sister Donna (Johnny) of Wausau, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Harley will be held on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017 at noon, with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of services, all at the Carlson Funeral Home.
