Laurie married Theodore (Ted) Robert Fifrick on May 21, 1983 in Burlington and they were blessed with 34 years of marriage. They also worked together as a team for 25 years where Laurie served as a pharmacy technician and Ted served as a pharmacist. Laurie and Ted shared a love for Jesus, nature, camping, travel and playing cards with close friends.
Throughout her life, Laurie touched the lives of countless souls through her card ministry and proved to be a steadfast friend to those unable to travel outside of their home.
Laurie is survived by her husband, Ted, their four children, Colleen, Toby, Amy (Michael) and Andeelynn (Casey), and 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Noreen, and her grandson, Isaac.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Rhinelander. Visitation will be held immediately before the service from 10 to 11 a.m. and a fellowship lunch will follow.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, gifts may be given to the family and will be distributed to various charities Laurie supported throughout her life. The Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414) is serving the Fifrick family and condolences may be directed at www.carlsonfh.com.
