Louis was born June 10, 1942 in Rhinelander to Earl and Bernice (Klug) Onson.
Louis is survived by his wife Kathryn Onson of Tempe, Ariz., his daughter Jane (Scott) Detert of Rhinelander, and his sons Jeff (Annette) Onson of Wausau, Tim (Tina) Onson Antigo, Scott Onson Platteville, Adam (Christi) DesJarlais Phoenix, Ariz., his grandchildren Nic (Kaitlin) Rebane, Brittany (CJ) England, Justin Rebane, Zach (Caitlin) Onson, Kayley Onson, Kyle Onson, Christian DesJarlais, Alexis DesJarlais and four great grandchildren. Louis is also survived by his brother Tom of Gainesville, Ga., and nephews Robert and John Onson.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at The Haven on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017 at 5 p.m.
