Judy met Al when he was hired to work on her parents farm in Bryant, Wis. Judy and Al spent their life "living" and entertaining others at "the cabin" in Lake Tomahawk. Judy never ran out of food, drink, fires, or conversation; so many people with memories and experiences to cherish. When there was work to do, Judy would get it done, rarely accepting any help. She absolutely loved life and spreading joy, and had a positive word or wise phrase for any of life's challenges.
Judy will be missed dearly. We remember her kindness, generosity, bright smile and work ethic, and will carry her spirit and memories in our hearts.
Judy was a mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend.
Her trademark was keeping everything neat and tidy and feeding and welcoming others. She loved cooking for us, a good movie, the sun, the beach, walking, writing, ice cold coke, chocolate, family, babies, winter, new clothes, comfy shoes, and celebrating Christmas.
Cherished mom of Diane Adams-Graf (John), Janey Ripp (RJ), and George Adams (Linda). Proud grandma of Anne, Justin (Ruta), Emily, and Ben, and great-grandma to Asher, Monroe, and Amara.
Survived by two brothers, Jerry (Bobbie Jo) and Dwayne (Mary), and two sisters Ermie and Bonnie (Charles), a large extended family, and many other friends.
There will be a private gathering of the immediate family.
The family thanks the caregivers at Milestone and Seasons of Life for their heartfelt attention at the end of her life.
Memorials may be made out to Diane Adams-Graf in c/o Associated Bank, P.O. Box 939, Minocqua, WI, 54548 and will be used to support programming for the American Legion/Northern Highland State Forest.
