Fire destroys sports bar in Lincoln County
According to a Lincoln County sheriff's office press release, the fire was reported at 8:28 a.m. Saturday.
"When the first deputy arrived, employees were actively fighting the fire with extinguishers in the kitchen area," the release states. "Attempts to put out the fire contined until all extinguishers were used. The fire quickly spread through the attic area."
Units from seven fire departments responded to the scene. The building was a total loss.
